Online forms in Nepal, from Loksewa Aayog and university admissions to passport, licence and bank KYC forms, set strict limits on photo and signature uploads, often something like 100 KB or 200 KB and sometimes fixed pixel sizes. Phone photos are several MB. This tool reduces the file to your target KB and can resize or crop it to exact pixels. Always check the exact requirement in the form's own instructions.
How to use
- Choose one or more images.
- Enter the maximum size in KB, or switch to Quality to set it yourself.
- If the form needs exact dimensions, enter width and height and choose Crop to exact size.
- Click Compress images and download the result. Each image shows its new size and pixels.
Frequently asked questions
Which format should I choose?
JPG is accepted by almost every form and is the safe choice. WebP makes smaller files but some older portals reject it. PNG keeps full quality but does not compress photos much.
My signature looks blurry after compressing.
Scan or photograph the signature on plain white paper in good light, crop tightly, then compress. A higher KB target keeps edges sharper.
For documents with several pages, use JPG to PDF and then Compress PDF.
