Find your exact age from a BS or AD birth date

Many Nepali documents, such as citizenship and SEE certificates, give the date of birth in Bikram Sambat, while forms abroad ask for the English date. This calculator accepts either, converts between them, and shows your exact age in years, months and days on any date you choose.

How do I check the age limit for a Loksewa vacancy?

Set Age as on to the date given in the vacancy notice (usually the last day of the application period) and compare the result with the age limit in the notice.

Is age in BS different from age in AD?

The number of days lived is the same. Only the month and day boundaries differ, because BS months have 29 to 32 days. This tool counts months and days on the AD calendar, so near a cut-off date, also compare the BS dates if the notice gives the limit in BS. To convert only a date, use the Nepali date converter.
