FSU Thapathali Campus is organizing JIGYASA Engineering Expo on 18th and 19th Magh in IOE, Thapathali campus.  About 25000+ visitors are expected to visit the Expo which is being organized by FSU in association with Robotics Thapathali and other educational organizations active in Thapathali campus. The coordinator of the Events is Prashant Thapa who is vice-secretary of FSU Thapathali 2073.

Photography beholds such reality that even words fail to express at times. Don’t miss out, show us your amazing snaps, make us go SPEECHLESS and stand a chance to win great prizes.



TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Entry is open to anyone
2. Photos should be submitted by an individual, and each person can send up to 3 photos.
3. All entries must be your own work and must not infringe the rights of any other party.
4. Watermarks/Logos are NOT allowed on photographs.
5. Images' format is digital JPEG or JPG format and Pixels (at least): 1,600 p wide (Horizontal image) or       1,600 p tall (Vertical image).
6. Photos may be enhanced to make them brighter, clearer, etc., but the content must NOT be digitally manipulated.
7. The judges reserve the right to exclude any image they believe has been excessively treated altering its authenticity.
8. By entering the competition, the contestant agrees to the organizer retaining the photographs for promotional and illustrative purposes.
9. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to cancel this competition or amend the rules at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
10. The winners of the competition shall be determined by (A) JUDGES' CHOICE and (B) PEOPLE'S CHOICE.




SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE:

JIGYASA Engineering Expo

In today’s world “going green” has become a top priority in our society, and sustainable buildings and design are at the forefront of this green revolution. While many designers are focusing on passive and active energy systems, the reuse of recycled materials is beginning to stand out as an innovative, highly effective, and artistic expression of sustainable design. Reusing materials from existing on-site and nearby site elements such as trees, structures, and paving is becoming a trend in the built environment, however more unorthodox materials such as soda cans and tires are being discovered as recyclable building materials. Materials and projects featured after the break. So we students of Thapathali campus has decided to conduct recyclable products collection campaign which we can use in the upcoming exhibition.
TYPES OF MATERIALS THAT WILL BE COLLECTED:
A) MAGAZINES AND NEWSPAPER
B ) UNUSED C.D.S
C) UNUSED COTTON
D) PLASTIC BOTTLES, CUPS, SPOONS
E) CARDBOARD BOXES
F) UNUSED PAPERS
G) TIN CANS etc.

The rest products unlisted can be anything that is used as a recycling product and can be reused again and again.

Introduction to JIGYASA- Imagine, Invent, Inspire: The student organizations of Thapathali Campus have formed a joint concept of organizing a national-level engineering exhibition-cum-fest within Thapathali Campus premises. The students are undertaking to do all the necessary works for exhibiting various contents from different fields.
So, all the participants are required to fill this form sincerely showing their interests in a related field.
